SSA staffs to give quarterly progress reports

Zunheboto, May 5 (DIPR): The first Quarterly Review Meeting of District Mission Authority of Sirva Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA) was held on May 5 at Deputy Commissioner’s Conference Hall Zunheboto.
Deputy Commissioner Zunheboto, T. Kiheto Sema while chairing the programme said that the government servants should give priorities to their services wherein they earn their livelihood. He also said that from now onwards every staff under SSA should give quarterly progress reports to the authority, while assuring that an amount will be given to the staff involved after proper verification. He also encouraged the staff to work with keen interest and give achievement reports along with photographs and present it to the DPDB meeting, which will be an encouraging to all. Kiheto also highlighted about his visit to schools at Andhra Pradesh state, where every student enjoys their mid-day meals everyday, and requested the concern department to improve the students’ mid-day meals.  He further said that a proposal has been sent to higher authority for improving school furniture, which will be implemented in phase-wise, while adding that the fund allocation will be stop for the village, which brings complication from time to time. The Deputy Commissioner also called for more cooperation to improve the district.
Earlier the DEO Zunheboto and programme coordinator, Ghuzui Sema delivered keynote address and reports from Deputy Inspector Schools, Aghunato, Pughoboto and Zunheboto was read out in the meeting. The Education Block Resource Centre (EBRC) staff from Aghunato, Akuluto, Pughuboto, Satakha, Zunheboto and DMAZ staff also presented their reports to the House. The programme concluded with vote of thanks from the chair.
