SSPN organises ‘Runs for Unity’

Dimapur, October 31 (MExN): The Sainik School Punglwa, Nagaland (SSPN) today organised a ‘Run for Unity’ on the occasion of the 144th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.

The motive of the Run was to spread the message of ‘Unity in Diversity’ and strengthening the integrity towards a better society, a press release from the school informed. 

 The event witnessed participation by all cadets, staff as well as officers and they ran a distance stretch of 4 kms under the banner ‘Run for Unity,’ it said. 

As part of the event, a special assembly was conducted where Cdt Masen Kodak delivered a speech on Patel; the cadets and staff took a pledge of ‘Rashtriya Ekta Diwas’ and solemnly resolved to preserve the unity, integrity and security of the nation, it added.
