Kiusam, June 20 (MExN): St John School, Kiusam Town hosted its first ever science exhibition at the school on June 20.
Rev Rangthong, Pastor of Kiusam Town Baptist Church (KTBC) inaugurated the exhibition in the presence of public leaders, parents and invited guest.

School Principal, Rev Fr Thomas Toretkiu in his introductory word said, “Science exhibition gives an opportunity to perform a fantastic learning experience.” He remarked that students gain a deeper understanding in various scientific concepts in physics, chemistry, biology and many others science that we live with. They also learn critical thinking and problem-solving by performing. “Children do learn and assimilate far better when they gather data and do their experimentation,” he stated.

Rev Fr Thomas also added that “science exhibition build their ability of communication skills and public speaking. In science exhibition they learn team work, creativity thinking, and time management and benefit many areas in life-skill-base.”
The event began with a welcome song and prayer, followed by exhibition walkthroughs where students demonstrated their projects and teamwork. The performances were particularly impressive, with participants ranging from LKG to Class 6 showcasing their scientific explorations.
