Kohima, February 26 (MExN): The stage is all set for Angami Sports Association (ASA) Golden Jubilee tournament from February 28 to March 4 at Khuochiezie (Kohima Local Ground) and Indoor Stadium, Officers Hill, Kohima. Lok Sabha MP Neiphiu Rio will grace the inaugural function as the chief guest on February 28. He will unveil the golden jubilee monolith at Old MLA Hostel Compound, Phoolbari, Kohima. It will be followed by inaugural function at the Kohima Local Ground. The inaugural day will witness bamboo stilt walk competition and track and field events. Track and field events will continue till March 1 along with indoor games. Marathon race will take place on March 2, to be flagged off by chief patron Vilelie Khamo from at 6:00 AM at Kohima Science College, Jotsoma and culminate at Kohima Local Ground. Football, volleyball and indoor games will take place on the same day and continue till March 3. Wrestling will take place on March 4 at Kohima Local Ground with the valedictory function and fireworks scheduled on the same day Meanwhile, ASA General Secretary Er. Zale Neikha has informed all tournament officials, ASA former champions, unit contingents, all participants of opening ceremony to come for rehearsal on February 27 at 2:00 pm at Kohima Local Ground.
