Dimapur, August 21 (MExN): The NSCN (IM) today reiterated its resolute stance on the Naga National Flag and Constitution (Yehzabo) and asserted that these core issues must be part of the Naga political solution.
Time and again, the NSCN (IM) has taken the resolute stand that it shall never deviate from the Naga National Principle at any cost and uphold and protect the Naga unique history, stated a press release from the MIP, NSCN/GPRN.
Accordingly, it stated that the NSCN (IM) attaches “great importance to the Naga National Flag and Constitution (Yehzabo) as part of the Naga political solution.”
“Thus, NSCN, under no circumstances can forego these core issues that symbolized the Naga National identity,” it added.
It further pointed out to the ‘Naga National Decision’ adopted on May 31, 2022 where the NSCN (IM) under the leadership of Chairman Q Tuccu, Vice-Chairman Tongmeth Wangnao and General Secretary Th Muivah “solemnly” took decision to “uphold and protect Naga unique history and Naga National Principle at any cost.”
The decision, as per the NSCN (IM), was “compelled by unpredictable political situation” and taken to save the future of the Nagas.
