Start Up Nagaland Boot Camp held in Kiphire

Kiphire, September 29 (MExN): The Directorate of Industries & Commerce Kohima organised Start Up Nagaland Boot Camp for the student community at Hopongkyu Memorial Hall in Kiphire on September 28.
A DIPR report stated that Directorate of Industries & Commerce, Deputy Director, Er Lipongse Thongtsar in his presentation stated that today many people are expecting to get government job whereas the government is not in the position to create any post. Therefore, he encouraged the student community in Kiphire to create job opportunities on their own sector and to practice skills and expose their business to empower young people to build disruptive start up business.
He also said that the aim of conducting Boot Camp is to educate the students and implement the customer discovery ideology prototyping growth and pitching them to apply the future idea.
Directorate of Industry & Commerce, Assistant Director Er, Kenierienuo K Theunuo also the team leader of the Boot Camp in her power point presentation said that “Start Up is any business structure power to innovation development.”
In the ‘idea pitching’ session, Cholongtsaba V Sangtam was adjudged the first position followed by Khiasuthong T and Telonfthsi in second and third position respectively. They were felicitated with citation certificate and cash incentives.
The panel of judges included Chumbenthung Murry, EAC Kiphire and Tsaluchum S, General Secretary, Kiphire Town Chamber of Commerce & Industries (KTCCI).
Self Help Groups and local parent bodies also participated in the Boot Camp.
