Academic and Administrative Audit team and others during their visit to Zunheboto Government College on April 14.
Zunheboto, April 15 (MExN): The Academic and Administrative Audit (AAA) team visited Zunheboto Government College (ZGC) as a state level Audit Committee in preparation of the 2nd Cycle of NAAC Assessment.
The team led by Dr Watijungshi, Rtd Addl Director, Higher Education, Government of Nagaland as Convenor, Dr K Nishena Nekha, Addl Director, Higher Education, Government of Nagaland and Dr Ketoukhrieu, IQAC Coordinator, Kohima College as members undertook the visit on April 14.
A PowerPoint presentation was made by H Jekugha Sema, Vice Principal, ZGC where he gave a report about the college profile and infrastructure enhancement. A presentation was made by Tiasunep Ozukum, IQAC coordinator about the AQAR, Self Study Report and the Academic enhancement programs and activities conducted under the initiative of IQAC. Departmental reports of the last five years were presented by the heads of all departments including college Librarian.
The team also had meetings and interactions with the Alumni members, teaching faculty, students’ council and non-teaching staff separately. They also undertook visiting and verification of college facilities such as Library and ICT facilities, Museum, Computer Room, Classrooms, Student Leaders, Girls Common Room, faculty room, Laboratories, Non-teaching staff room and Account section, Washrooms, Different cells, etc.
An exit meeting was held with Principal, Faculty, non-teaching staff and student leaders where the team members shared their key observations and gave recommendations and suggestions for improvement of the college.
