NCSA bids farewell to senior officers

KOHIMA, FEBRUARY 26 (DIPR):
A farewell program was organised by the Nagaland Civil Service Association (NCSA) on 23rd Feb., 2011 at the Circuit House, Kohima for its two senior most members, Commissioner & Secretary, Cooperation, Visutha Angami and Commissioner & Secretary, Excise & Additional Commissioner, Nagaland, K.N. Ngullie who will be attaining superannuation this month.  The two officers are the first from the NCSA to attain the rank of Commissioner & Secretary, super-time scale and will retire on the 28th of February 2011. President, NCSA, chaired the program.

Ighanumi Students’ Union condoles

Dimapur, February 26 (MExN):
The Ighanumi Students’ Union deeply grief the demise of Late Rev Inaho G. Swu. The Union in a condolence message issued by its president Atoli Achumi remembered the late Reverend as a man who not only worked for the spiritual growth of the people but also had great concern for all round development. The Union has conveyed heartfelt condolence to Mrs Kanili Swu and children.

Fasting and prayer programme

Dimapur, February 26 (MExN):
The three days fasting and prayer programme for women leaders, office Bearers and executive members will be held from April 8 to 10 at Pughoboto prayer centre. Kahuli P. Achumi chairperson, women standing committee, has requested all concerned members to reach the venue on April 7.

‘B’ Khel of New Chumu villagers informed

Dimapur, February 26 (MExN):
The villagers in ‘B’ Khel of New Chumukedima are informed to clear their electricity bill on or before March 31, 2011 otherwise the respective electricity bill shall be disconnected. The village chairman T. L Angami in a press release also informed the villagers to submit yearly ‘House tax’ for the year 2011 to the GB before March 15 and to donate some reasonable amount to the Khel GB/Chairman at the earliest for the removal of the landslide on Agri-Link road within the village.

Registered rural libraries of Kohima informed

Dimapur, February 26 (MExN):
All registered rural libraries of Kohima district that have not collected library books for 2006 to 2010 are informed to collect 2 packages of books for each year from the district cultural office, Kohima within one month. This was informed in a press release issued by District Cultural Officer, Kohima.
