DIMAPUR, SEPTEMBER 22 (MExN): For the effective conduct of Socio-Economic and Caste Census (SECC) 2011, all Government Employees under the State Government shall be assigned with SECC related works as deemed appropriate at various levels which will be treated as “On Duty”. Any Government Employees assigned with the SECC related work and found defaulting will be penalized as per the appropriate existing Rules as deemed fit, stated a notification issued by Chief Secretary Lalthara. In line with the Right to Education Act, 2009, all Primary Teachers shall be exempted from the exercise of conduct of SECC 2011, the notification also stated.
