Kohima, October 17 (DIPR): A State Level Steering Committee on Special Development Package for Eastern Nagaland has been constituted under the chairmanship of the Chief Secretary, Nagaland and the members of the committee are Commissioner & Secretary, DUDA Member Secretary; Addl. Chief Secretary & Development Commissioner; Addl. Chief Secretary & Commissioner, Nagaland; Addl. Chief Secretary & Finance Commissioner; APC & Principal Secretary; Home Commissioner, Nagaland; Commissioner & Secretary, Power; Commissioner & Secretary, Roads & Bridges; Commissioner & Secretary, Health & Family Welfare; Commissioner & Secretary, Industries & Commerce; Commissioner & Secretary, School Education; Commissioner & Secretary, Higher & Technical; Secretary, Transport; Secretary, Women Development and Secretary, Youth Resources & Sports.
The State Level Steering Committee shall review the progress of the Programme/Projects implemented by the line departments, and also take corrective measures, ensuring quality control and completion of the projects within the time frame under Special Development Package for Eastern Nagaland which was given as a component of SPA under the State Annual Plan, 2012-13, and which is likely to be continued during the 12th Plan period. This was notified by the Chief Secretary vide Notification No. DUDA/EP-15/2012 (pt) dated 17th October 2012.
