The state-level Academic and Administrative Audit (AAA) team with the C-Edge College faculty and others on August 31.
Dimapur, September 2 (MExN): A state-level Academic and Administrative Audit (AAA) team from the Department of Higher Education visited C-Edge College, Naga United Village, Dimapur on August 31, with the aim to monitor and support the quality of the college’s academic and administrative system.
According to a press release received here on Friday, the team was headed by Dr Watijungshi, (Retd) Additional Director, Higher Education as Convenor; Addl Director, Higher Education Dr Lily Sema and Deputy Director of Higher Education Dr Medongoi Rhakho as members.
As per the release, the audit started with the meeting with the Principal of the college Dr Chubatola Aier who is said to have given a detailed presentation. This was followed by a meeting with IQAC members where IQAC Coordinator Wapanginla Ao highlighted on the NAAC’s seven quality criterions and its enhancement undertaken by the college through a comprehensive presentation. The audit continued with meetings with each of the departments in which the Head of the Departments gave the complete report presentation, it said.
The team also then interacted with the C-Edge College Students Forum(CECSF) Leaders along with some of the students, and staff separately. The team made physical verification of the accounts and establishment sections followed by a meeting with the Librarians & Library Committee which was then followed by verification of books and journals, ICT facilities, classrooms, auditorium and other amenities and facilities.
An exit meeting was held with the principal, IQAC members, HoDs, and staff members, where the team provided key remarks and suggestions for improvement. The principal C-Edge College delivered a note of gratitude to the team. The event ended with a report produced by the AAA team, the release stated.
