Wokha today downed Niuland 3-1 on third day of the ongoing State Level Pre-Subroto-cum-Junior Football Tournament 2024 at Indira Gandhi Stadium Kohima under the aegis of the Department of Youth Resources & Sports, Nagaland and Nagaland Football Association (NFA).
In the first match of the day for U-15 Boys, Wokha defeated Niuland 3-1.
Vungrhonthung Yanthan connected two goals for Wokha while C. Zuben Ezung added another goal to the team. Angukavi Yeptho netted a lone goal for Niuland.
Longleng- 3, Mokokchung -0
In the second match, Longleng blanked Mokokchung 3-0.
Mengshung T. Phom, L. Anyak Phom and Kenchei S. Phom connected a goal each for Longleng.
Kiphire -2, Phek- 0
Kiphire overpowered Phek 2-0 in the third match.
Tamrikhun and Limlemong fetched a goal each for Kiphire.
Mon-1, Zunheboto-0
In the 4th match, Mon defeated Zunheboto 1-0.
The winning goal for Mon came through Chingmei.
Chümoukedima – 6, Shamator- 0
Chümoukedima downed Shamator 6-0.
Pangoukhup Hengna fetched a hattrick for Chümoukedima.
Chonminn Lam, Lunminhao Singson and Benjamin contributed a goal each to the team.
Dimapur 3, Kohima– 1
Dimapur defeated Kohima in the 6th match of the day.
D. Heukalung netted two goals for Dimapur while Linashan connected another goal.
Thejasevor netted a solitary goal for Kohima.
Meanwhile, Tseminyu got walk over as Tuensang did not turn up.
