Teachers' recruitment examination rescheduled

Dimapur, February 27 (DIPR):
The Additional Deputy Commissioner, Mon, Sarah R Ritse informs to all concern that as per the direction of the Government, the Teachers Recruitment Examination has been rescheduled to February 28 at Government Higher Secondary School, Mon. All candidates are requested to set for the recruitment examination as rescheduled above.  

ZTC bans ‘gutkha’

Dimapur, February 27 (MExN):
The Zunheboto Town Council with the consent of District Administration and Police has banned the import and sale of ‘gutkha’ and related tobacco products within its jurisdiction with immediate effect. The chief advisor of the council, Huskha Yepthomi  in a press note said that defaulters shall be “penalized heavily” and even to the extent of cancelling trade license.

India on Wheels meet today

Dimapur, February 27 (MExN):
The India on Wheels has informed in a press note that there will be a meeting on February 28 at 11:30 am at T.U.Building Meeting Hall opposite New NST complex. Non-achievers from Kohima are requested to attend the meeting.

UC Kohima elects new office bearers

Dimapur, February 27 (MExN):
The election of the Upper Chandmari Panchayat Council was held on February 26, 2011 at Government Proceeding High School Chandmari . The election was conducted by the Election Committee along with the G. B.’s of Upper Chandmari . A press note issued by Bijay Basnet, Kamal Bahadur Chetri, G.B’s  upper chandmari, Kohima informed that the following office bearers was elected by the mass general public of the Upper Chandmari colony for the tenure 2011- 2016: chairman- Mhalavolie Peinyu, general secretary- Niren Thapa, treasurer -Bikash Lama.
