Ten best trainees of Basic Entrepreneurship Skills Training under Entrepreneurs Associates receives FOME Award

Feast of Merit Entrepreneurship (FOME) Award 2018 was conferred to ten best trainees of Basic Entrepreneurship Skills Training under Entrepreneurs Associates (EA) here today.
The recipients includes; Munosang, Chezhuto Yeptho, Moajungla Pongen, Sentinaro, Kupto Assumi, Davis Tungoe, Sungjemmar Jamir, Chonben Shitio, Vikai Jimo and Kewipunlu Chawang.
Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio handed over the award during “Stimulating Innovation & Entrepreneurship in the North East” programme held at RCEMPA, Jotsoma.
EA started FOME award which is channelled through Basic Entrepreneurship Skills Training, a 200 hours rigorous training on entrepreneurship.

The FOME award is an interest free loan upto Rs. 1 lakh to the best trainees who are adjusted on various parameters.
Referring to institution of FOME award, EA stated that the feast of merit is a novel practice passed down from generations with the sole principle to share one’s wealth to the community with a philanthropic intent.
“EA strives to uplift and carry our society forward as a part of its own success through the feast of merit approach,” it stated.
Established in 2000, EA is an organization working in the North Eastern region of India, dedicated to enhance the lives of people, mediating through passionate commitment to nurture entrepreneurial aspiration of individuals and communities.
It envisions dignity of living for all by increasing their efficiency and productivity through initiatives that draw out their potential, utilize resources that are within their reach and empowering them to seek their own advancement.
For nearly two decades, EA has been stirring societal mindsets through advocacy, imparting trainings and providing finance even to those considered technically un-bankable.
