Dimapur Municipal Councill, Administrator, Albert Ezung on October 2 inaugurated street beautification and wall painting undertaken by Dimapur Bongs at Kalibari Road.
Addressing the gathering, Ezung lauded the Bongs for undertaking various beautification works and maintaining the road along the stretch. He encouraged the organization to strive to make the road stretch a "zero garbage stretch." He also called for all communities to inculcate a sense of social responsibility for a peaceful co-existence.
The Administrator said that the growing challenges being faced by Dimapur needed collective hands and strong participation from all.
He asserted that the DMC would continue to strive for a cleaner Dimapur and urged all to cooperate.
Convenor, Beautification Drive, Dimapur Bongs, Juel Acharjee presented a brief report of the project.
