Kohima, February 5 (MExN): The two week long Shehri Samridhi Utsav 2019, a street food festival began with the theme ‘Eat Safe, Eat Healthy and Eat Fortified’ at high school junction, Kohima on February 4. The event is organized by SUDA in collaboration with Food Safety, Nagaland under Health and Family Welfare, Kohima Municipal Council (KMC) and National Livelihood Mission. In a DIPR report it was stated that similar mela will be organized at main town MLA junction and BOC in the coming weeks. Altogether 15 Self Help Groups are participating in the street food festival, where varieties of local products like fruits, vegetables, flowers and handicrafts are being sold.
