Student and Faculty Development Prog held in Peren

Peren April 16 (MExN): The 9 Assam Rifles, in collaboration with MIT University of Meghalaya, organised Student and Faculty Development Programs in Peren on April 15. Held under the theme ‘Aim, Aspire, Attempt, Achieve,’ the event drew over 400 students and 40 faculty members from across the district.

Media Cell, MIT University of Meghalaya in a press release said that the day-long session offered guidance on career planning, soft skills enhancement and effective communication.

Dr Malhar Pangrikar, Vice Chancellor of MIT University of Meghalaya led sessions on importance of soft skills and a rational approach to career decisions. He addressed modern Teaching-Learning Pedagogy with special emphasis on New Education Policy (NEP).

Major Pranav of 9 Assam Rifles introduced students to the career paths in the Indian Armed Forces, shedding light on various entry schemes and eligibility criteria.

Abhijeet Dwivedi, Manager at MIT University of Meghalaya addressed the pressing issue of youth unemployment, emphasizing how emerging technologies can bridge critical skill gaps and pave the way for innovative job opportunities in the digital age.
