Students exhibit innovation at SJU’s ‘Exhibiting Excellenza 2022’

Dimapur, February 27 (MExN): St Joseph University, Chümoukedima organised an event called the ‘Exhibiting Excellenza 2022’ for the University and school students to exhibit their talents and innovation through the model exhibition.

According to a press release, the event started with the inauguration on Fberuary 25 with the wishes of Rev Fr Dr JE Arul Raj, Chancellor of the University, Founder and Chairman, DFT group of Institutions.

Special Address was given by Most Rev Dr James Thoppil, Bishop of Kohima, Pro-Chancellor of St Joseph University, who expressed joy in seeing many students coming forward to take up various disciplines like mathematics. He congratulated the University for organising the event, giving a platform and opportunities to the students to explore and excel in the innovative inputs and said that these exhibitions are learning pathways.

The inauguration session was followed by the Exhibition whereby all the 19 departments of the University took part in the model exhibition. Altogether 135 models were exhibited and 1,096 students participated in model making and exhibition, the release stated.

The models include working and non-working, demonstrations etc., such as working of heart, smart city, green eco-building, display of characters from literary history etc. The school student of St Joseph Global School also took part and contributed several models to the exhibition. Students from various schools and Higher Secondary schools also participated and witnessed the programme and exhibition, the release stated.
