Dimapur, January 18 (MExN): On the third day of the National Integration Tour, organised by the Assam Rifles, a group of 20 students, including 10 girls and two teachers from Zesaji Presidency College in Kiphire, Nagaland, meet the President of India, Droupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhavan.

An update from the PRO, HQ IGAR (North) stated that this interaction provided a transformative experience for the students, inspiring them to aim higher and contribute meaningfully to the nation’s progress. 

During the meeting, the President engaged with the students and commended them for being part of the National Integration Tour. She highlighted that this initiative aims to foster cultural unity and strengthen the bonds that form the fabric of our national identity.

The President encouraged the students to dream big, work diligently, and embrace India’s diversity as a source of strength. Her inspiring words underscored the importance of perseverance, unity, and cherishing their unique heritage while contributing to collective progress. 

Following this interaction, the students toured the Rashtrapati Bhavan. 

“The National Integration Tour continues to provide young minds with enriching opportunities that promote unity, cultural exchange, and mutual understanding. It plays a vital role in shaping them into informed and responsible citizens who are aware of their responsibilities towards national development,” the update stated.
