Dimapur, March 13 (MExN): Students of Government High School Wokha and Englan embarked on a three-day educational and exposure trip to Kaziranga National Park on March 13.

Major Rajat Yadav of 45 Battalion Assam Rifles, Chieswema, flagged off the trip from Bhandari, according to a press release received here. Major Yadav said that the trip which is supported by 45 Bn Assam Rifles, Chieswema was to help and encourage the students to reinforce experimental and contextual learning by making real-world connections.

Exposure trips expose students to different environments, places, areas, and ideas which help to enhance classroom learning, and therefore both teachers and students should keep learning opportunities open, he said, according to a DIPR report received here on Monday.

The concerned school and teachers expressed gratitude to the 45 Bn Assam Rifles, for the opportunity given to their schools. The trip will conclude on March 15, the DIPR added.
