•-From the “ Aja” a Tangkhul Daily News Paper of dated 24th and 25th May 2011, I happened to read a press release issued by Mr. H.Ngaranmi Ningshen General Secretary, Naga People’s Front (NPF) Ukhrul Division requesting all the Tangkhul Frontal Organisations, namely TNL, TKS, TNWL, TSL, TMNL, KKYNSA, RKL, ZKL,ZTKL, TAKL, TNGOWA, TKLI, TPOI, TSLI, churches, NGOs etc to send 4 delegates each during the “ NPF LAUNCHING PROGRAMME” to be held at Senapati on 28th May 2011.
I am just sharing my personal opinion. Let the readers be not misunderstood. Launching the above stated political party covering all the inhabited Naga areas is good step towards the achieving of better living for the Naga people. I think all the Naga people irrespective of living in different states will appreciate the present Chief Minister of Nagaland Neiphiu, Rio, Dr. Shurhozelie President NPF and others colleagues for taking great pain in order to extend this political party (NPF) beyond Nagaland state. It is a registered Regional political party recognized by the Election Commission of India under certain rules and conditions.
My simple suggestion to the above stated Frontal Organisations is that, since it (NPF) is a Political party having its political colour, it is not advisable the apex bodies to participate directly in the name of an organization. You as an individual can participate. There is no harm. If I am not mistaken, the apex bodies have their own constitution. Everyone is bounded by the constitution. Leaders can exercise their duties within the limited play field/jurisdiction. And everyone may also be aware that the above stated organizations are Non-political NGOs.
I am not personally known to Mr. Ngaranmi Ningshen. I also request him not to take otherwise. He might have served this information knowingly or unknowingly considering the interest of the Naga people. Lastly, I would like to say once again that, my simple suggestion is to avoid the misunderstanding that may crop up in future, ie, right after the launching programme. “I wish a great grand success of the launching of NPF in Manipur state.”
