Kohima, July 9 (MExN): A 23-year-old man who was admitted to the Naga Hospital Authority Kohima (NHAK) after a suicide attempt succumbed on July 9. The body has been brought to North Police Station and kept in the morgue, but no relatives or community members have come to claim it, stated a press release from PRO, Kohima Police. The deceased was admitted to the hospital on July 5. The release informed that on July 5, the Kohima North Police Station received information from resident of Planning Department’s quarter, New Secretariat area, Kohima that one person identified as Simon (23), present address – Gorapati, Dimapur attempted to commit suicide. “On receipt of the information police went to the spot and found the person lying unconscious on the ground with injury/incised wound on the left abdomen and multiple razor cut on his neck,” the press release said.
