K Tokugha Sukhalu, MLA and Advisor for Food and Civil Supplies, Legal Metrology and Consumer Protection, visited Government Higher Secondary School (GHSS), Zunheboto, on March 20 to assess its progress and interact with students and faculty. He was accompanied by NPF 35 Zunheboto AC party workers.
Addressing students during the morning assembly, Sukhalu drew from his own early education at the same institution and noted that the school has produced several bureaucrats and technocrats. He encouraged students to work hard and pursue their goals, remarking that they too could achieve similar success.
He urged students to value education and respect their teachers, emphasising the important role mentors play in shaping their future. He also advised students to seek clarification from teachers rather than relying on peers, and highlighted the importance of punctuality in academic life.
Following the assembly, Sukhalu held a brief meeting with the faculty, led by the Vice Principal, during which various concerns were raised. He encouraged teachers to remain sincere and dedicated, stating that educators play the most crucial role in building the future of students.
