DIMAPUR, SEPTEMBER 11 (MExN): While appreciating the statement given by the Naga Hoho in the local dailies dated 6th September 2012, the Sumi Hoho has stated that it was constrained to seek certain clarifications in the larger interest of peaceful co-existence and justice particularly with reference to quote, “vandalism and violence at Dimapur in various places particularly the Niathu Resort which was beyond imagination”. According to the Sumi Hoho, the state government has constituted the Committee to probe into the unfortunate incidence which includes “vandalism and killings”. However, the Sumi Hoho stated that the Naga Hoho’s appeal to the state government appeared “contradicting which further flares up the already chaos situation”. The Hoho further urged upon the concerned authority to kindly clarify to the general public whether the probe is meant for expediting on vandalism alone or killings as well. This was stated in a press note issued by Hovishe Arkha, President and Vihuto Asumi, Secretary, Sumi Hoho.
