DIMAPUR, AUG 12 (MExN): The Sumi Hoho has expressed its sincere appreciation and extended its gratitude to the leadership of the NSCN (K) and in particular to Brigadier Niki and Captain Akaho for releasing Khatovi Chishi, Raju Peyu of their rival faction, NSCN (IM) who was apprehended on the evening of August 9. According to a press communiqué from the Sumi Hoho issued by HS Rotokha President and Aheto V Yepthomi General Secretary, the NSCN (IM) cadre was released unconditionally and unharmed on August 12 as requested by the Sumi Hoho. The tribal body while lauding the good gesture of the NSCN (K), urged all national workers to maintain such spirit of humanity so as to allow peace and tranquility to prevail in our society.
