Dimapur, May 13 (MExN): The Sumi Chess Association Nagaland (SCAN) is organizing its 8th Sumi Open Chess Championship 2017 and Under-17 championship from May 17 to 19 at Tourist Lodge, Dimapur. A press release has informed interested persons of Sumi community to participate by paying entry fee of Rs.700 in open category and Rs.300 for the U-17 category at Tourist Lodge. Participants of the Under-17 category are requested to produce birth certificate and ID card. Total prize money for the tournament is Rs. 50,000.
