ZUNHEBOTO, OCTOBER 16 (MExN): The All Sumi Students’ Union (SKK) appreciated the Additional Director and HOD of School Education for delivering prompt justice by revoking all random attatchment of government teachers at DIS and DEO Offices, Zunheboto and re-deploying them to their respective places of posting as demanded. The SKK has urged the concerned department to implement in toto all over the state before the next academic session as per the Nagaland Government’s directive given out on August 17, 2007.
The union has also asked the DIS, Zunheboto to ensure that those teachers have joined their place of posting within no time and start teaching the students. It went on to add that in case of the process being defied, the concerned officer would be held solely responsible, stated the press release issued by K. Himahito Chishi and Vitolu Chophy, the president and general secretary of SKK.
Moreover the SKK stated that it would not allow any government teacher to remain attached to the DIS and DEO offices in Zunheboto in future and in the interest of the public appealed to the VIP’s not to pressurize the department officers to attach their candidates to the concerned offices in future.
