A new retail store called Super99 was officially opened here in Dimapur located at Bethmeon building, Duncan Basti by Business Association of Nagas (BAN) President, Mongkum Jamir on September 2.
Super99 an Indian retail brand primarily dealing in the sale of everyday products, with over 65 plus stores located across India made its entry into Nagaland under the joint proprietorship of Benthungo Kithan and Dr Yan Murry.

Speaking with Kithan, he shared that the concept of Super99 was to primarily source products made in India with a price cap of 99 rupees. “At the same time they are priced at a very affordable range which can be accessible for all consumers,” he said.
He added that the brand already has its presence in the northeast region in states such as Assam, Manipur, Mizoram, Arunachal Pradesh and Tripura. As such, the duo felt the need to open one such store in Dimapur. “It is similar to Vishal in terms of pricing but the products are a little bit more superior,” he claimed.

At its initial stage, the store will be staffed by three employees including a manager in-charge. It features a range of products for home-decor, kitchen and dining, health and beauty, toys, stationary etc.
Kithan mentioned that the store will be open from Monday to Saturday (10:00 am to 8:00 pm) every week.
