Tuensang, January 25 (MExN): The District Administration and Election Office Tuensang organized a Systematic Voters Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) programme at Tower Clock Tuensang on January 25.
A DIPR report stated that ADC Tuensang Thungchanbemo Tungoe highlighted the objective of the SVEEP Campaign. He also encouraged citizens above 18 years of age to get self-registered so that they can enjoy the right to vote in the electoral process of the biggest democracy in the world. He also launched the clean election pledge signature campaign in the programme.
EAC Tuensang, Arhonbeni Ezung encouraged all to take part in the forthcoming election in free, fair, and peaceful elections in the district. She emphasized ‘one man one vote’ and ethical and moral elections. She mentioned the power of the voters to elect good leadership for the district so that the development and upliftment of the society can be achieved.
Lichemri and S Yongkhong Kelep also entertained the crowds present with special numbers.
