SEYOCHUNG, MAY 9 (MExN): The Seyochung Village Students' Union (SVSU) has urged the office of the District Education Officer, Kiphire, to take immediate action against teachers of the Government High School (GHS), Seyochung Village, who have allegedly been irregular in attending their duties.
In a representation submitted to the DEO, the SVSU expressed serious concern over the issue, stating that during its recent monthly visit to the school, it was found that certain teachers were either not attending regularly or not reporting for duty at all.
The Union maintained that such negligence is detrimental to the students’ academic progress and undermines the functioning of the institution. It appealed to the concerned authorities to intervene and initiate appropriate action against the erring teachers without delay.
