CHOZUBA, SEPTEMBER 19 (MExN): Chozuba Block under Phek district is observing the Swasth Nari, Sashakt Parivar Abhiyaan with a health care programme, in line with the rest of the country, from September 17 to October 2, 2025.
The campaign aims to improve the overall health and well-being of women, adolescent girls, children and families by providing free medical check-ups, screenings, counselling and essential healthcare services.
As part of the initiative, CHC Chozuba organised a Special Health Camp on September 19. A special doctor provided consultations and screenings for conditions such as blood pressure, diabetes, cancer, anaemia, tuberculosis and sickle cell disease. Services also included antenatal check-ups for pregnant women, immunisation for children, nutritional counselling, menstrual hygiene awareness, enrolment under PMMVY, distribution of MCP and Sickle Cell cards, ABHA registration and Ayushman Vaya Vandana Card services.
Senior Medical Officer Dr Lolekhol Pucho has urged the public to attend the health camps at their nearest Health & Wellness Centres during the scheduled dates and avail of the services.
