All Nagaland Karate Association felicitated its Association President Er T Sangtam for being homologated the 6th Dan by World Karate Federation (WKF).
Dimapur, December 28 (MExN): All Nagaland Karate Association (ANKA) felicitated its Association President Er T Sangtam for being homologated the 6th Dan by World Karate Federation (WKF) which was handed over at the ANKA office on December 28.
According to the association, Sangtam also holds the 7th Dan under the National Federation as well. Working President T Lanu Imchen stated that “Sangtam is the first ever person who has achieved/Awarded Black Belt 6th Dan in World level in the history of Nagaland Karate.”
Meanwhile, a join felicitation programme was held on December 27 at J Sangtam Village, Jalukie, Peren District, where 8 Karatekas of its Association was awarded Certificate for passing out in National Referee and Judge exam.
The Certificate was presented by ISKF India Chief Shihan, Matum Bankim Singh (Black Belt 7th Dan) Treasurer and Referee Commission Chairman of North East Zone Karate India Organisation.
