Tana-Bana District Handloom Expo in Pfutsero from July 13

Dimapur, July 9 (MExN): The Nagaland Handloom & Handicrafts Development Corporation Ltd (NHHDC) will organise a District Handloom Expo (DHE) at Pfutsero Town in Phek district from July 13 to 18. 

According to a press release issued by the corporation, the expo is being organised with sponsorship from the Office of the Development Commissioner (Handlooms), Ministry of Textiles, Government of India. 

The NHHDC has invited interested artisans and weavers to participate in the expo. Applications may be submitted to the Project Cell of NHHDC Ltd at Half Nagarjan, Dimapur, on July 10 during office hours. 

The corporation informed that exhibition stalls will be provided free of cost. In addition, each stall holder will receive a lump-sum travel allowance, daily allowance and freight allowance.
