Germany still proves to be a perfect destination for Northeast Indian talents. Earlier in July, the 8-year-old roller skater and child prodigy made headlines for contesting in the Season 2 of Superkids 2016 which was staged in Munich, Germany. In the Episode 5 Season 6 of The Voice of Germany 2016, Homsing Ronra Shimray, a native of Ukhrul (Manipur) has managed to impress coach Andreas Bourani in the blind auditions round of the singing reality show which aired on November 3 via SAT.1 channel network. The 39-year-old Tangkhul Naga artist who now resides in Karlsruhe (Germany) performed the hit “Shadow of the Day” by Linkin Park. Perhaps, this would be his best night to be ever remembered. That same day happens to be his birthday too. The whole audience and judges sang to wish him ‘Happy Birthday’ in the most watched German television show this year so far.
