Tatar & UT I Chairman of Khaplang group joins GPRN/NSCN

DIMAPUR, SEPTEMBER 18 (MExN): G Sema, Tatar and UT I Chairman of Khaplang group along with eleven other workers have joined GPRN/NSCN. This was informed in a press note issued by the MIP. According to them, “there is no communication between S.S Khaplang and those propagating his name at Mon and Suruhuto Camp” and that “depending on S.S Khaplang to bring political solution for the Nagas would be utterly foolish and so joining GPRN/NSCN was the only way for them to serve the Naga nation meaningfully and with pride”.
According to the MIP note, bankruptcy of thoughts and ideas, lack of co-ordination even in Nagaland among “irreconcilable individuals such as Kughalu Mulatonu, Wangtin Naga, Gen. Niki, Hokato Vusshe etc. have made each of these men suspicious of another”. Serving the Naga nation under such disorganised and leaderless K group was simply a torturous existence and therefore G. Sema and like minded workers had to take a decision before it was too late, stated the MIP note.
It was pointed out that while the rest of the Nagas were deeply engrossed in the Naga reconciliation process with determination and great hope, the “disgruntled K group was inventing negative ideas to confuse the Naga people”. “The only serious topic each day was taxation through whatever means. Extortion, kidnapping and use of other violent methods are hatched on regular basis. There is no genuine feeling to consider Naga Reconciliation within K group and Naga political issue was non-existent”, stated the MIP. In such an environment, G Sema and his subordinates, on their own volition, chose to become a part of Naga family that looks to future under visionary leaders, the MIP note from the GPRN/NSCN stated.
