Kohima, December 27 (MExN): The 25th year anniversary celebration of Tsiesema Basa Village Youth & Sports Organization (TBVYSO) with the theme “Towards the higher goal” commenced today at Tsiesema Basa playground in Kohima district.
Gracing the inaugural ceremony as the special guest, Mhasimhalie Mathew Yhome, president, Kohima District Football Association, called upon the youth to work hard for greater success. There is no place for a lazy person, he said and described the fruit of honesty as the greatest virtue of life.
Earlier, TBVYSO president Zakietuolie Khrodi delivered presidential address while Tsiesema Basa Village council chairman Razoukhrielie Khro shared greetings.
The programme was chaired by organizing committee convenor Khrielie Angami. Field marshal Kekhrieo Khro administered oath to the participating teams.
Roko Angami, president Nagaland Football Coaches Association will be the match patron for day 3 on December 29 while Er Ruokuobeilie Mere, Sr Lecturer, Kelhoshe Polytechnic Atoizu, Zunheboto will be the guest of honour at the closing ceremony on December 30.
The celebration will continue till December 30.
