tEA Senapati disburses zero interest loans, lauches products

Senapati, August 29 (MExN): The Entrepreneurs Associates (tEA) Senapati Branch organised a Zero Interest Loan (ZIL) Disbursement-cum-launching of local products programme on August 28.

This programme, a pivotal segment of an ongoing series, spotlighted the disbursal of ZIL aimed at supporting the local entrepreneurs to become proactive contributors to society's progress, informed a tEA release. 

Chairing the event, Ledziisa Soto, Project Associate and Head of Senapati Branch delivered an overview of tEA's inception and its impact on lives through diverse, impactful initiatives and projects. 

Martha, a beneficiary of tEA's COHORT Loans programme also shared on her transformative journey and underscored the role played by the ZIL in nurturing her family business endeavours.

The event culminated in a ceremonious presentation of ZIL cheques, totalling around Rs 4 lakh to 5 members to invest in their business.

Another highlight of the event was introduction of product launched from four distinct domains.  These enterprises were nurtured and guided by tEA under the HSBC-FWWB 360o Project, providing skills training, business management, product design and labels. 

The enterprises were “Diana’s Delight” specialising in fruit candies; “Radiant Florals,” dealing with curating exquisite fresh flower bouquets by  Niisiiru;  “Sarah’s Dry Meat,” a range of preserved meats; and Veizii’s “Veizii Bouquet,” a tailoring venture catering to customised attire including wedding gowns and dresses.

Gracing the occasion with her team, President of the SDWA (Senapati District Women Association) Hannah encouraged women to persevere and conveyed her steadfast support in her capacity as the organisation's head to uplift and empower women at every juncture. 

Reflecting on the plight of women who often migrate in search of opportunities, she further advocated for harnessing local potential to obviate the need for such migrations and menial occupations.

Concluding the event, Ledziisa extended gratitude to all attendees, stakeholders and volunteers from Lungnila Elizabeth College, Senapati signifying a collective commitment to furthering societal advancement within the district.
