Chümoukedima, February 10 (MExN): Peace Channel in collaboration with NEISSR organised a comprehensive one-day training programme tailored for teacher animators from Dimapur and Chümoukedima districts. A total of 35 educators from various schools attended the training held at the Peace Centre, Chümoukedima.
Dr Fr CP Anto, Principal NEISSR and Director of Peace Channel, Sr Resmy and Jose V Abraham were the resource persons, stated a press release received here.
Fr Anto elucidated strategies for fostering happiness in the classroom. He also highlighted the importance of cultivating a positive attitude among teacher animators, emphasizing its pivotal role in fostering a conducive classroom atmosphere. He stressed the significance of mentoring students to explore their potential and bring forth their finest attributes.
Building upon this discourse, Sr Resmy encouraged participants to demonstrate patience and affection in interactions with children. She advocated for proactive measures to mitigate disruptive behavior and foster supportive relationships within the educational milieu.
Concluding the session, Jose V Abraham emphasized the indispensable role of collaborative effort in effecting positive environmental transformations. He stressed the importance of understanding each child's background and circumstances to provide personalised support and acceptance, championing the transformative power of love in reshaping educational environments and fostering holistic growth.
