MON, OCTOBER 15 (MExN): The Royal Society of Chemistry, Yusuf Hamied Inspirational Science programme in collaboration with Mon District administration conducted teacher training workshop from October 11 to 15 at Resource Centre, DRDA Mon.

The resource person of the workshop was Jaya P Swaminathan, Teacher Developer, Royal Society of Chemistry, informed a DIPR report. Swaminathan used topics from chemistry to demonstrate different teaching techniques that can be used in the classroom. 

The Yusuf Hamied Inspirational Science Programme is a professional development course for science teachers in India. It has been developed by the Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC), UK, which is a non-profit organisation. As part of this programme, the RSC Teacher Developers are conducting workshops at Mon for science teachers. DC Mon, Thavaseelan K, IAS gave away the certificates to all the trainees More than 60 science teachers from both private as well as government schools under Mon district attended the workshop.
