As a young student, Arti Kumari has been tutoring kids in all the subjects since she was in Class 11 only so she could lessen the financial burden of her parents. “I study for about 3 hours daily but on some days, it was quite difficult to manage,” she said. However, emerging topper of the HSSLC examination in Commerce Stream by securing 94.60%, she feels especially happy that she would be able to partly look after herself even as she looks forward to taking up LLB.
On achieving this commendable success, Arti Kumari of Ram Janaki Higher Secondary School, Dimapur gives credit to God, and her teachers who have given her “unconditional support” and her parents and friends who have helped her overcome hurdles.
“The teachers in my school are very friendly; they guide the students like their own children,” she expressed while pointing out that this further motivates the students to achieve such position. “It’s not like everyone should do good in academics, but whatever they like, they must give their best”, she further put across and advised young students “to keep themselves a little bit away from Social Media, and relationships and focus on their goals.”
