Tuensang: The District Education Office, Tuensang conducted the Teachers’ Day celebration at Town Hall, Tuensang with Deputy Commissioner Tuensang, Kumar Ramnikant, IAS as the guest of honour.
The programme witnessed special number by Loyem Memorial School, ode to teachers by Wela Foundation School and GMS Post Office and honouring of teachers was performed by GHSS Thangjam.
The DC Tuensang gave away the District Teachers Awards to Aheli Sema, HT, GHS Chingmelen; M. Akumba Chang, PT, GPS Yonyu; Mutsoi Khaimniungan, Asst. Teacher, Green View School, Longkhim and Natimanlu Chang, Asst. Teacher, Baptist Thangyen HSS.
Kiphire: Kiphire District celebrated Teachers' Day at Hopongkyu Memorial hall, Kiphire with the Deputy Commissioner Kiphire, T Wati Aier, NCS as the guest of honour.
Kiphire District Teachers felicitation of Teacher's award 2022 for meritorious service rendered towards the students’ community was awarded to three teacher: Samuel PGT (History) GHSS; Mhomo GT, GHS, Yangphi and S Tethsomong Sangtam, PT, GMS Sangphure.
Merit Student award in HSLC from Kiphire district, sponsored by KDPSS was awarded to Chumtila A Sangtam from Saramati Modern View School. All the awardees were awarded certificates and cash prizes.
Wokha: The All Nagaland Private School Association (ANPSA), Wokha Unit celebrated Teacher’s Day at Don Bosco Youth Centre, Wokha with Advisor for Law & Justice and Chairman DPDB Wokha, Dr Chumben Murry as the special guest.
Other highlights of the programme include song, cultural presentation poetry recitation, and dance presented by various member schools of the association. President ANPSA- Wokha Unit, K Edward Ngullie welcomed the participants while Jt Secretary ANPSA-Wokha Unit, Irene Mozhui delivered the vote of thanks.
Peren: Teacher's Day 2022 was observed by the Teachers and Students of Government High School, Ngwalwa, Peren at the School Auditorium. A speech on significance of Teacher's Day was delivered by Lungciepeule of Class 10. On behalf of the teachers, Headmaster, Chusi Hieme conveyed words of gratitude to the students. A song presented by the students of Class 9 & 10. Teacher's Day was also celebrated at Govt HSS, Ahthibung. Various items such as special numbers, dances, fancy dress and other items were performed by the students to mark the celebration.
Mon: Department of School Education, Mon, organised a grand celebration of Teachers' Day 2022 with the theme, ‘Teachers: Leading in crisis, re-imagining the future’ at Council Hall, Mon with DC Mon, Ajit Kumar Verma, IAS as the chief guest.
Four teachers from different parts of Mon were presented with the District Teachers Award for their outstanding service. The awardees were M Esther Moikap Konyak, PT, GHSS Mon; John Konyak, PT, GPS Shangsa; N Langphong Konyak, teacher in-charge, GPS Mienchangle and Dziesebeiu Angela, Asst. Teacher, Sacred Heart School, Mon.
Tseminyu: Teachers’ Day was celebrated at Mini Indoor Stadium, Tseminyu with DC Tseminyu, Dr Zasekuolie Chusi, IAS as the special guest. Other highlights of the day include folk dance by Christian School Tseminyu, string ensemble by BHSS Tseminyu, special number by Govt High School, Tseminyu and attributed to the teachers by Akenyu Khing of GHSS Tseminyu.
