Dimapur, May 20 (MExN): To honour the selfless contribution of teachers towards their students, CT University (Punjab) and Genius Career Guide (Dimapur) organized the ‘Best Teacher Award Ceremony’ at Hotel Acacia, Dimapur.
90 teachers from different schools of Nagaland were felicitated at the event, informed a press release from CT University.
The title of ‘Best Teacher’ is based on the survey conducted amongst principals and students of various schools and colleges of Nagaland, it added.
The teachers were honoured with a title of Best Teacher and awarded a certificate and memento each recognizing their contribution to the teaching profession.
Dr Harsh Sadawati, Vice Chancellor, CT University (Punjab), who inaugurated the event, said that educationists should understand and laud the important role the teachers play in the overall development of the society.
