Dimapur, November 3 (MExN): Tech Aura 2018, an annual technical fest organised by School of Engineering and Technology (SET), Nagaland University, on the theme ‘Aspire, Innovate, Empower’ concluded on November 2 in the Academic Complex of School of Engineering & Technology, DC Court Junction.
The event is being organised to promote technical consciousness in the mind of young generations.
The four days Tech Aura event aims at providing platform for students to showcase their talent in technical and to spread an atmosphere of technological presence to the society, stated a press release.
Special invitee Prof S Venugopal, Director, NIT Nagaland, in his speech said that the future era belongs to robotics and automation technology, it requires knowledge of multidisciplinary area. “Where, we should learn biology for making bio inspired robotics, mathematics for analysis, programming for computer simulation, mechanical system, signal system, sensors, and artificial intelligence.
He further stated that young generations have so many online courses like NPTEL, MIT, COURSERA and etc. Students should use all existing resources to excel their multidisciplinary skill,” he said.
He stated that the county is dependent on students and encouraged the students to join higher study for developing skill to fulfil today's society needs and work for the unity of the county.
