Moala Longchar, Chairperson of PLF underscored the practice of SHGs taking loan without any clear objectives leading to failures. She exhorted all the SHGs to work hard with fine craftsmanship to ensure that the products are sellable in the market place thus attracting the financial institutions to provide monetary assistance.

She further appealed to the trainees that being part of the SHGs should ensure that it is beneficial to their group as well as for their respective families. Moala also stressed that laziness leads one to indulge in illegal activities. She added that as Christians all SHGs should ensure that a part of their earnings also goes for God’s ministry.
