Telecom service providers urged to strengthen network

Kohima, July 30 (MExN): The Angami Students’ Union (ASU) on Friday urged upon telecom service providers to look into the matter of bad network connections and strengthen the same. “Since last year with the pandemic, teaching-learning has been shifted to online-classes which necessitate a good internet network connection. However this could not be met as issues arise with bad network connection in both rural as well as urban setting resulting to communication gaps and glitches, this turn really hinder the flow of online-classes and learning activities,” stated ASU. In this, ASU vice president Kevilelhou Zumu and education secretary Thepfuruya Theunuo urged upon the concerned authority to look into the matter and strengthen the network connectivity.
