Dimapur, June 10 (MExN): Deputy Commissioner of Kiphire, Temsuwati Longkumer, has informed that vehicular movement of all kinds along a stretch of the Kohima-Jessami Road will remain completely restricted from June 10 to June 14 between 6 am and 6 pm due to ongoing excavation works.
According to the notification, the restriction will be in force at Chainage 101+060 to Chainage 101+161, between Losatephe and Lanehzo villages, under Package-V of the Kohima-Jessami Road project. The measure has been imposed as a precautionary step to ensure the safety of the general public during the excavation works.
During the restriction period, commuters have been advised to use the alternate route via Pfutsero–Porba–Sakraba–Khomi–Phek Village–Lanehzo and vice versa.
