Tenyimi Students’ Union Dimapur observes freshers day

The Tenyimi Students' Union Dimapur (TSUD) held its 7th Freshers' Day cum Cultural Day at Holy Cross Higher Secondary School, Dimapur on September 27.


Addressing the students as one of the special guests, Timikha Koza, President, Tenyimi People's Organization urged the students to work hard and maintain their integrity. He also advised them to respect each other and elders as well. He said that the Tenyimi people belonged to different tribes but come together to celebrate their culture as one. 


Former President of Tenyimi Union Dimapur, D. P. Angami encouraged the students to preserve and promote their language and culture and at the same time do good for the society. 


He also urged the Tenyimi students Dimapur to cooperate with various Dimapur based organizations in the interest of the Naga people.


Other dignitaries including Hilo Semp, President Tenyimi Union Dimapur; M. John Kape President Mao Union Dimapur and Boveio Poukai Duomai former GS NSF also exhorted the gathering during the programme attended by the units of Tenyimi Students' Union Dimapur.
