Tenyiphe-III AHWC gets new OPD extension

Dimapur CMO Dr Moatemjen inaugurated the new extension at the Tenyiphe-III AYUSH Health & Wellness Centre on February 28.

Dimapur, February 28 (MExN):  A new extension at the Tenyiphe-III AYUSH Health & Wellness Centre was inaugurated by the Dimapur Chief Medical Officer, Dr I Moatemjen on Tuesday. The extension will be utilised as MO (AYUSH)-cum-OPD room and Yoga Hall, according to a press release received here.

Following the ribbon cutting ceremony, Dr Moatemjen said that Tenyiphe-III Sub-Center was upgraded to AYUSH Health & Wellness Centre and a new Medical Officer (MO) AYUSH was assigned to reduce the burden of health through holistic approach by promoting health awareness, promote preventive measures, promote healthy lifestyle, yoga and meditation, telemedicine, and to provide easy and affordable access to health care to the public. He further urged the community to take ownership of the health centre and to continue their supports and contributions towards the development of the health center. He also requested the local authorities to consider future growth and development of the health center and therefore, to clearly demarcate the area of the centre.

The inaugural function was chaired by Dr Alivi V Chishi, MO (AYUSH) who appreciated the community leaders for the tireless support and contributions towards the improvement of the health centre. The invocation prayer was lead by Pastor Yovotsol Kikhi, while the vote of thanks was delivered by Bizo Angami, Chairman, Village Health Committee, Virazuma. A short speech was also delivered by Videzol Natso, Chairman, Village Council, Virazuma.

Other officials present during the inaugural function included, Dr Antoly Suu, Dy CMO, Dr Kavito, Dr Benchilo, Dr Chem, Dr Rebecca, Dr Valentina, Kikolul Khieya, staffs under DPMU Dimapur, BPMU Chümoukedima and Tenyiphe-III AHWC, Village Council members, women leaders, and youth leaders of Tenyiphe-II, Virazuma, and Khriezephe villages, the release stated.
