The Tetseo Sisters from Nagaland performed at opening night of Waves Summit 2025 in Mumbai on May 1.

The World Audio Visual & Entertainment Summit (WAVES) 2025 taking place from May 1 to 4, 2025 at Jio World Centre-is a watershed event, bringing together global leaders, industry stakeholders, and creative pioneers, driving dialogue, collaboration and innovation within the media and entertainment (M&E) industry.

Waves Cultural and Concerts honour Bharat’s spirit through a vibrant blend of music, dance and storytelling showcasing classical music and dances of India, Folk and martial art forms. The summit was inaugurated by PM Narendra Modi and the first Cultural Concert at NMACC’s Grand Theatre was an exquisite showcase of global artistry, heritage, and expression.

A grand orchestra led by MM Keeravaani with Shreya Ghoshal presented the launch of Waves of India album while regional acts like Tetseo Sisters and AR Rahman’s Jhaala highlighted diversity.

Under the theme of Connecting creators, Connecting countries, Waves Summit united artists with collaborations like Alan Walker and King, Dharavi Dream project and Beatpella. A dance musical curated by Anupam Kher included performances by visually impaired children. The evening showcased Bharat’s proud legacy and celebrated India’s creativity- preserving Heritage while inspiring global Innovation.
