Chümoukedima, March 26 (MExN): The Career Counselling and Placement Cell of Tetso College, in collaboration with Study Next, a Dimapur-based career guidance centre, organised a daylong seminar on “Entrepreneurship and Leadership” for final-year students on March 26.
Ranjan K Baruah, career mentor, skill trainer and founder of North East Youth Foundation, was the resource person. He explained the differences between entrepreneurship and traditional business and highlighted opportunities for youth in Nagaland to pursue entrepreneurship.
He also focused on 21st century skills, life skills and selling skills, urging students to think critically and innovatively to stay ahead.
Sandip Saha, Director of Study Next, spoke on the advantages of pursuing an MBA and briefed students on the current job market.
Participation certificates were distributed at the end of the programme. The seminar was supported by IIBS, Bengaluru.
